Here are a few projects I have made using the brand new Basically Bare range available to purchase from Kuretake.

They are an amazing items to work with, and come in a variety of colour's, shapes and textures, and you can use an abundance of mediums to colour and decorate them. I have used PanPastel to decorate mine.

I will be in the next couple of weeks be showing you more samples of these fabulous embellishment's as at the moment I am busy working at the NEC show.

Here is my entry for this weeks challenge over at Delicious Doodles Challenge..This item I picked up from Hobbycraft It's designed to go inside a frame.I have decided to have this as a wall hanging so I covered the centre with card and worked my magic on it.All the colour has been created by PanPastel's both Red and Pink.I have added quite a few sentiment stamps they are a little hard to read from this picture but I kind of like that as it is for my true love after all lol.The stamps are from various company's the flowers and Butterfly and sentiment are from my stash you may spot some Card Candi that's another of my must have embelly's at the mo.

My Heart Belongs to ................

Well I picked this heart up from Hobbycraft I like funky things that I can alter.I am really pleased with result especially the texture that I have created It was a real labour of Love pardon the pun !!!

To begin with I covered the Heart with PVA Glue heated it with a gun till it popped then added Red PanPastel and to the edges added Black PanPastel to create definition.I then covered the whole surface with perfect medium and added clear embossing powder.I added a few embelly's to finish off.

Wallpaper PanPastel Projects

As you have probably gathered by now I love to experiment with PanPastel's and what surface I can get them to stick on.Well tbh I have not found a surface yet!!!! I had a bit of brain wave whilst I was in B&Q last week I saw these lovely textured wallpapers.It got me thinking that if you haven't got a Embossing Machine then you can still get that embossed finish to your cards.I decided to take a sample of three of the Wallpapers you are a allowed to do this but I think it maybe that your intention is to put on your walls oh well they didn't ask me that lol.To my total delight they went on the Wallpapers are real treat just applied them straight on and the result of my first experiments can be seen above.What will I come up with next who knows lol.

This is a plywood photo holder I picked up from Hobbycraft last weekend. Me and my daughter Shannon decided to alter it. We used PanPastel's to colour the wood and then rubber stamped with Stazon and then used glitter and puffy paint for the additional effects. No primer or sanding was required before the PanPastel's were applied.

PanPastel and Daniel Smith Watercolour Paint Fairy Tag

Below is a mini video that I decided to upload tonight. It's my latest project which I made using PanPastel, Daniel Smith's luminescent water colour paints and black embossing powder and Lavinia stamps.

I decided to do a video as the Daniel Smith paints give the most AMAZING sparkle when painted over the top of PanPastel which shows in this short video, but I have to say that in real life it is even better. If you are coming to Coleman's on the 26th November you can see the actual tag, and I will demonstrate the effect of the Daniel Smith paints used in conjunction with PanPastel which is simply stunning.

Here are some images I've created while playing around with PanPastel .

The above was made by blending Violet Violet Tint Phthalo Blue Panpastel.The fairy (Lavinia Stamp) was stamped with Memento the white stars(Lavinia Stamp) have been created by using white embossing powder the image really pops but it's not so clear in this image.

The above was created by blending a small amount of Black and Ultramarine Blue to create the sky.I used a blend of Phthalo Green and Permanent Green to create the grass the Trees and Birds (Lavinia Stamp) were stamped with Brown Memento.

This topper was made by blending Black and White.I stamped the window stamp and coloured the frame with Red Iron Oxide and Hansa Yellow to create a glow.I have used a White Sakura pen to create the falling snow and the snow on the ledges.

This little tag was coloured with Violet Violet Tint Phthalo Blue Panpastel.I applied the colours over the words and Fairy which was stamped with Stazon .

I'm really happy with how this one turned out i created the sky by blending Turquoise and White.The trees were stamped with Brown Memento.The ground colour was created by blending Burnt Sienna and Red Iron Oxide.The sentiment is a blend of all the colours.

The image above and below were created using a combination of Versamark Stazon and Violet and Violet Tint and a little Permanent Green for the foliage.

Again here the same colours have been used but i have used Black embossing powder for the sentiment it really pops when you see it with the naked eye.

The same colours have been used here i have added a tiny amount of Black to create the mist over the moon.The moon shape has been created by using a Circular post it note i like the misty effect the little bit of Black gives to the image.

This week our theme is 3 is a magic number. I decided to recycle a box that my PanPastel's came in. I have used purple PanPastel and silver acrylic paint, decorated with PVA glue which was heated with a heat gun until it bubbled to create the textured effect. I have added pearls and sentiments from my stash and have punched 3 butterflies, covered them with purple PanPastel and silver acrylic paint and used thick embossing powder on them. This is my 3 is a magic number.

Merry Christmas Mini Easel

For this mini canvas i have used Blue and Black and Green PanPastel. The stamps i have used are from Stamp Addicts i have added puffy stuff to give the effect of snow.I thought it would make a great topper for a card for even make a great alternative to a Christmas card.

For this decorated candle i stamped onto tissue paper and coloured it with Panpastel.I then cut the image out and placed it onto the candle then i heated it gently till the wax melted and the image sank into the wax.

Oldie But A Goodie Wings

Well this was a labour of love it's only the second time I have done a large canvas. I started by covering it with a blend of Panpastel and Mica powder.The flourish was hand drawn with glitter pens. I have also added a selection of chipboard shapes which have been coloured with Panpastel.I stamped the fairy and coloured her with pencils and the Dragonfly with glitter pens.The paper flowers and butterfly's have also benn covered with PanPastel.

Here are some samples I made using PanPastel on different projects.

This amazing large canvas was created by my daughter Shannon. he used a Panpastel blend for the base colour added faux leaves and swirls and sentiments and a really pretty glittered chipboard sentiment.She also used flowers etc from my over flowing stash.

This treasure chest was great fun to make its a first for me.I began by covering the chest with torn newspaper and covering it with pva.I then added Panpastel and a mixture of Gold and Bronze acrylic paint.I have added a selection of old jewellery and twine to add to the treasure theme.

The four images above are infact mini canvas designs.I have used several different techniques including stamping,stencilling,heat embossing.They really are fun to make.

The above spooky sign has been coloured using a blend of Black and Orange Panpastel.The pumpkin i used just orange and covered it with Orange glitter i bought this a very long time ago i knew i would use it one day lol.The piccy is my Son Sean and my Daughter Kathryn it was taken last year at Alton Towers.
